After all, should not any theoretical explanation of our nature apply across the long span of time when human nature actually formed?”
David Brin has a very good point. If for centuries we subscribed to certain cognitive beliefs, without evidence usually produced as in physical science, tribalism should be seen in the same context. Believe it or not, tribalism is in the same context.
